Please Join Us in Supporting a Special Travel Writer and Friend

Hello, travel writers,

As many of you know by now, one of the best things about becoming a travel writer is the people. Enter this community and you’re guaranteed to meet other people who are as curious about the world and as enthusiastic about travel as you are. Some will become fun travel companions for a moment, while others become mentors or even lifelong friends.

Unfortunately, one of our favorite people in this business, Tanner Saunders, is facing an unthinkable tragedy right now. We wanted to dedicate this space to the memory of Tanner’s beloved husband Matt and to collectively send our love to him and help him raise funds for Beyond Type 1, “a nonprofit dedicated to changing the narrative around diabetes.” You can find his fundraising page here.
