Calls for Pitches and a Special Gift!

Hello, travel writers,

If becoming a travel writer — or brushing up on an old skill — is on your New Year’s resolution list but you missed our Black Friday sale, that’s OK. We’ve added a little discount for the holidays, which is also a great reminder that our course makes the perfect gift for the aspiring travel writer on your nice list as well.

Now through January 2, use the code “BATW25OFF” to score 25% off ANY and all of our classes — including e-books, individual courses, or the full suite.

Whether you’re gifting Be A Travel Writer to someone else or adding it to your own wish list, here are the instructions you need to know (or you could just forward this e-mail to the gift-giver in your life as a not-so-subtle hint):

Simply add any of the classes to your cart, select the "This is a gift" checkbox at checkout, and fill out the details of the lucky recipient — including a personalized note from you!

That’s it! It’s that simple. (And if you’d like a printable certificate like the one above to put under the tree, just send us a note at [email protected]. We’re happy to help you play Santa.)

By the way, if you’re looking for an even more affordable gift that keeps on giving, consider gifting access to our job board for just $40 for a whole year.

Now, onto all the places you’ll soon be able to pitch with your newfound or refreshed skills.

Place We Love

Stacey is currently … as she says … “shredding the gnar” in Courchevel, France. It’s her first ski trip of the season, and she can’t stop texting about all the epic snow. Though her real favorite mountain will forever be Stowe, Vermont (it’s where her parents famously met as ski patrollers in the ‘70s), she does have plenty of love for other mountains. See the list she compiled of the 20 best ski resorts to try around the globe right now.

See you in class,

Stacey & Nina
