Hello, travel writers,

Stacey’s in her happy place (on safari!) and I (Nina) am here to report that this week’s jobs all pay over $100K, plus we have calls for pitches from Intrepid Travel and more.

But did you know many more jobs and calls for pitches—including the ones most recently posted—are all saved for our job board subscribers? Right now we have new opportunities with Nat Geo, Better Homes & Gardens, InStyle and more, plus copywriting jobs in the lifestyle space.

As always, you can find all of this on our job board for just $4/month or $40/year. (That’s about $0.11 a day.) It’s free for full-course students and updated every single day, so refresh often.

One Place We Love

I (Nina) just got back from a quick weekend in Nashville filled with music, hot chicken, barbecue, football, and more music. My husband and I stayed at The Hermitage, an elegant, 115-year-old hotel that’s home to chef Jean-Georges’ first restaurant in the South, Drusie & Dar (turns out JG makes a mean fried chicken) and his adorable all-day cafe, The Pink Hermit. It was the perfect place to retreat back to after the honky-tonks (where we stumbled upon some incredible musicians, including Paul Sidoti, who happens to be Taylor Swift’s lead guitarist). We also had the chance to catch an intimate show with my husband’s favorite band from the UK, the Stereophonics, who we’re catching again in San Diego soon. Below is just a cowboy in a window on Broadway, because why not?

See you in class,

Stacey & Nina
